I've always been fascinated by radio since I was a baby and never wanted to do anything else. I used to listen to presenters, announcers and newsreaders and thought,”I can do that.” |

The Stranglers-Always The Sun, Billy Joel-Scenes from an Italian Restaurant, the Overture to Carmen, the Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana and Largo Al Factotum from the Barber of Seville.

I'm a cross between Alan Partridge and Mark Corrigan David Mitchell's character in Peep Show, Partridge because I come out with a lot of his quips, and Corrigan because we have the same insecurities and attitude to life. |
| It’s the last supper – what would the starter, main course and dessert of your final meal be? |
Melon and Parma Ham for starters, a full roast with chicken and for dessert cheese and biscuits. |
| If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be? |
You'll be amazed by this, even though I'm half Italian I've never been to Rome, but would love to go. |
